Chitta AI (“the App”) provides AI-powered document processing, including scanning and extracting data from receipts, bank statements, and credit card statements. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Some features cache files and results on your device for quicker access. Depending on your configuration and selected services, documents may be transmitted securely to our servers or trusted providers to perform OCR, classification, or storage. Transmission uses industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with: – Service Providers: cloud hosting, analytics, logging, and crash reporting providers who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. – Legal and Safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the service and users.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, role-based access, and least-privilege controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We implement safeguards to protect personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, when appropriate, notify you within the App or via other channels.
