How many envelopes are free?
Every plan includes free e-signature envelopes each month, and accounts without a plan get a few too. After that, each envelope is charged in credits. Your account shows how many free ones are left this month.
What is an envelope?
One document, or several joined into one, sent for signature to one or more signers.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Each signer opens a secure link from their email, confirms a code we send them, and signs in their browser, on a computer or a phone. Signers sign in turn.
Can I send Word documents?
Yes. Word documents are turned into PDF before they are sent, so every signer sees exactly the same pages.
Where are signed documents kept?
In your Caelum account, stored encrypted in the UK, where you can download the signed PDF and its audit trail at any time.
